BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA (November 20, 2023) On this day in 1982, November 20, 1982, the California Golden Bears beat the rival Stanford Cardinal, 25-20, on a five-lateral kickoff return on the last play of the game. Kevin Moen scored the winning touchdown by running through the Stanford band, which prematurely ran on to the field in celebration.
