Opening Ceremony of the Games of the 29th Olympiad

HOUSTON, TEXAS (August 8, 2008) The Opening Ceremony of the Games of the 29th Olympiad have begun. The anticipation has been high as to what the host Chinese have in store for the billions of people who will be watching.

They will be televised beginning at 6:30pm CDT on NBC. In actuality, they began ay 7:00am CDT in Beijing.
