HOUSTON, TEXAS (June 26, 2010) The Conroe Jaguars indoor professional football team will kick off its home schedule this coming Sunday (June 27) against the LA Conqueres from Louisiana.
The game will be played at the Lone Star Expo Center in Conroe and is set for a 3:00pm kickoff.
This past weekend, the Jaguars rolled to a 58-0 victory over My Florida Kings in Bronson, Florida in their season-opener. Conroe scored at least two touchdowns in every quarter en route to the big victory.
In the first quarter Josh Lee started the scoring with a quarterback sneak, with Calvin Harris adding a TD run later for a 12-0 lead. In the second quarter Edward Moore had an interception return for a touchdown and Harris caught a 42-yard TD pass, with Jose Zaragosa adding the extra-point.
Ahead 25-0 at halftime, the Jaguars got a five-yard TD reception from Joe Townsend, a safety on a bad snap and a Mickey Williams touchdown on a fumble recovery return for a 39-0 lead entering the final quarter.
In the fourth, Townsend caught a five-yard TD pass (Zaragosa extra-point), Reginald Allen scored on a 37-yard interception return and Lee added the final TD on an eight-yard pass.
