SAN MARCOS, TEXAS (February 17, 2009) The Texas State University Athletics Department will honor its 2008 football team at the annual Texas State Football Season Banquet this Saturday, Feb. 21, at the LBJ Student Center Ball Room on the Texas State Campus. The banquet is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.The Bobcats finished the 2008 season with an 8-5 record and won the Southland Conference championship with a 5-2 record and qualified for its second NCAA Division I FCS playoff in the last four years.
