Herrera found midfielder Griffin Dorsey running up the left wing in the 91st minute, who put the ball to Úlfarsson waiting at the top of the penalty box. The Icelandic attacker attempted to hit the cross first time but sent the shot just wide of the right post.
Herrera delivered a corner kick from the left side in the 94th minute which fell to defender Franco Escobar. The Argentinian weaved his way to the right side of the penalty box, but his attempt was blocked by two Austin defenders.
