H20 Frogs Hit the Road for Air Force and Wyoming

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (November 12, 2008) The TCU men's and women's swimming and diving teams head north to face Air Force on Thursday and Wyoming on Saturday. Swimming World Magazine has named the Frogs' battle against Wyoming as one of the Meets of the Week.

The TCU men's squad will enter the meet against the Falcons with an overall
record of 1-2 and a league mark of 0-1. The Frogs have had 14 days to prepare
for the Falcons, as TCU has not competed since taking on BYU on Oct. 30. Josh
Bagby and R.J. Hesselberg currently lead the squad in wins with five victories
each. Hesselberg was named the MWC Male Diver of the Week for his last
performance, breaking the TCU record on the three-meter springboard with a score
of 380.10.

The women's team (3-1 overall, 1-1 MWC) will look to continue the momentum after
topping Colorado State last Friday, 128-115. Sophomore Maria Paula Alvarez
highlighted the meet for TCU, winning the 500-free and setting a new Frog record
in the 1000-free, while freshman Ashley Bolin earned a pair of victories in the
100-free and 400-IM. Senior Katie Rosen and freshman Kaitlyn Vann also continue
to impress this year, both with three wins.

The Air Force men's team holds an overall mark of 4-5 and a MWC record of 0-2,
while the women's squad has posted a 4-8 record with a 0-3 tally in the
conference. Both of Wyoming's squads are unbeaten for the season, as the women's
team currently holds an overall mark of 6-0 and a MWC record of 1-0, while the
men's squad is 7-0 with a conference record of 1-0.

TCU will not return home to the University Rec Center until the spring semester
when the Frogs host Utah on Jan. 9.
