(LEAGUE CITY TX, July 13, 2007) The Bay Area Toros were unable to keep pace with the powerful bats of the Lewisville as the fell 8-4 in the second game of five game series with the Lewisville Lizards.
Drew Caraway’s 3 for 4 performance at the plate, along with one homerun was not enough to give the Toros their eighth victory of the season. Pitcher Brandon Sisk, who gave up five runs, all of them earned, was credited with the loss.
Lewisville’s Phillip Monte earned the win, raising his season record to 3-1.
The Toros and Lizards face off again on Saturday with a double header. All Toros home games are played at Wildcat Field in League City.
